This is an antique 1920s "Chuckles" 23" Composition Doll with Sleepy Eyes by Century. The head, arms and legs are made of composition, while the body is cloth.
The eyes still close with no issue when the doll is laid down, and the clothes are the original clothing as far as I am aware.
